Mom's Birthday!!!

Today is my birthday and we celebrated with the Eldridge's on Saturday night. The kids got to decorate the cupcakes and then I got a few presents. Greg and Haley got me a chocolate melting pot since I have been making cake bites so much more often. I tried it out later that same night and love it. It keeps the chocolate melted longer for me. Today I went to church and saw most of my family then we went to the Eldridge's for lunch and had chicken and rice. All the kids wanted to play golf so Greg got the Wii going and we all had a fun time playing. Here are a few pics from today on my birthday. We are about to go to the church for the 1st day of VBS.

Beach Day!!!

After mom got finished with swim lessons on Friday June 24th Haley, Marie&mom headed to the beach to spend the day with the Jamerson's. Haley got to play with Andrew & Piper and enjoyed herself. When we got to the beach we ate lunch and then went swimming. Haley loved being able to touch the water in the 0 entry pool. She swam and jumped off the side as well. Maggie had her camera and took some pics. After a long nap we all got ready for dinner and Melody and Caleb showed up as well. We had a great dinner. We then all went to Adventure Island to play put-put. This was Haley's first time to play. She would hit the ball and then for her 2nd hit she would pick up the ball and move it closer to the hole. She did get 2 hole in one's and was very happy. After she watched all of us play she finally started to hit the ball when it stopped and did not pick it up every time. Haley got to play a few games inside as well. We had a great day in Gulf Shores, AL.

Swimming Lessons!!!

Haley was in swimming lessons the week of June 13th with 2 other boys and 2 other girls. She did great with her mom being the teaching. She loved the to the walk crawl, swim in the life jacket, jump off the wall, & swim to mom. She is swimming by herself but is trying to come up and take a breath. She will hold her breath for a long time. She has come to a few more lessons after her class and is improving every time she swims. Here are some pics of her swimming during her lessons.

VBS at Creekwood!!!

Haley had a great time last Sunday-Wednesday nights at Creekwood's VBS. She learned new songs and did well in the classroom with mom on Sunday and then with Yia-Yia on the other nights. There were so many 3 year old kids that mom helped out and so did Yia-Yia. Haley got to go to the story rooms and then she made a craft every night. She now can sing the 10 Commandment Song, Cast Your Burdens Song,& I'm in the Lords Army Song. She loves to sing and had fun with Mr. Matt singing every night.
