The River Walk and Audubon Insectaruim

On Saturday the 26th, we went with 19 other adults/kids to New Orleans on the church bus to go visit the Insectaruim. On the way over there we watch Bugs Life on the TV. We left at 8:30 and go there after 11am. It was a good ride to New Orleans on the big bus. Haley loved the bus because the was high up and could see out the window. She liked looking at the water and bridges that we went over. We went to the River Walk to eat lunch before we went to the Insectarium. We did get to eat at the little Cafe Du Mont that was in the River Walk. Haley loved it. We got to see alot of bugs at the Insectarium. Daddy even got to pet a giant hissing cockroach. Haley loved the butterflies and tried so hard to have a butterfly land on her arm. She had one on her arm for about a second. I did get one picture. We had a great day with friends from church. Haley did fall asleep on the ride back. We will try the aquarium another Saturday this year. Check out more pictures on my face book page.

Day with Daddy!

Haley got to spend the day with Daddy today on his 1st day of his Spring Break. They went to the park & Chick-fa-la. She had a great time with Daddy. When mommy got home at 3:30 we all got ready to go to the Circus. The Circus started at 4:30 and we got there after 4pm. We got good seats and the Dean&Giles Family met us as well and sat behind us. Haley was not really crazy at first b/c of a clown car that backfired to loudly. She did like the girls that dances, spun plates on sticks, the acrobats, & spun a pink and green circle on a string. Haley also liked the clowns that played music and like the elephants tricks as well. There was a boxing kangaroo that was neat and very tall when it stood up on its legs. She was ready to leave when it was over. That will be our last Circus show for awhile.
After the Circus we went to Mellow Mushroom for supper and it was good.

Haley's Big DAY!!!

Today Haley told us she wanted to get her ears pierced. So after lunch today we drove to Wal-Mart to see if they pierced ears. They told us they did. I made sure that they would do both ears at the same time and the said yes. So I filled out paper worked&we picked out earrings. The lady told Haley that she got to sit in the special chair. She was not real crazy and that so mommy sat in the chair and Haley sat in my lap. She was so excited to get her ears pierced. She started to cry when both the lady's where beside her and they said 3. Haley was looking at Daddy and holding mommy's hands. She let out a big cry but then stopped crying with she saw herself in the mirror and saw her earrings. Since she was a big girl we let her choose a toy. She picked out Baby Bell. When then came home and cleaned out Haley's toys and clothes. While I was in her room changing out her clothing for Spring clothes she changed into her pj's climbed into her bed with Baby Bell and fell asleep. We did not let her sleep long because it was after five o'clock. Daddy woke her up and she watch TV while he got supper ready and I was still cleaning her room. Then it was supper time and Haley ate very well. Daddy and Mommy then changed Haley's bed and dresser to different walls in her room. Haley loved the changed that she crawled right into her bed with her bed time story and was ready to get to bed. It did take her a little while to go to sleep because she would not stop singing. She finally fell asleep with her Baby Bell in her arms. She did not complain a whole lot today except when she wanted to take her earrings out. Daddy cleaned her earrings before bed and she cried a little. I think she is going to do well with her new earrings. Check out pics on Face book.

March 10th&11th

On Thursday, Haley got to ride your bike in the driveway because it was not raining or too cold. She is doing much better riding her bike. She had on all her gear: elbow pads, knee pads, & helmet. She had a great time outside before it got dark.
On Friday, Daddy brought Haley to mom's class around 10am. She got to play with the other kids and complete a Shamrock art person. She did not want to go to P.E. with the class but she did everything else. Haley sat with Ana at the lunch time and then watched a story with my class and did an activity on the smart board then it was time for nap time. Haley did not take a nap but she rested on her mat. Then she got to complete a puzzle and she did it all by herself. She was so proud of completing the bus puzzle. After school Haley helped me clean my room and then we came home with Marie&Mallory. Haley then watched her favorite shows: Kailan, Wonderpets, & Fresh Beat Band. After Fresh Beat Band we all got ready to go out to dinner with the Ashbee's. Jacob and Haley wanted to play each other video games. They both had a few melt downs because neither one of them had a good nap that day. After dinner, we took Haley to Yia-Yia's house so that she could have a sleepover. She was so excited to sleepover at Yia-Yia's house. We had a great Friday today. Fat Tuesday

Today on Fat Tuesday, Daddy had to drive back to Montgomery this morning. So Haley and I got up around 8am and ate breakfast. We then got ready for the day. At 10:30 we met Hannah&Jacob at the inside McDonald's so the kids could play and then ate lunch. After lunch Hannah and Jacob came to our house for a little while. Haley and Jacob played with Mr. Potato Head. We all then went over to Anna's house to see her and her new week old baby John Wesley. Haley &Jacob did good over at their house. Then Haley and I came back home and took a nap. After our nap we ate a snack and then went to B&B to pick out some fish. We got 2 new fish and 2 new sucker fish for the aquarium at home. We then drove out to Yia-Yia's house to pick-up Mallory. Haley talked to Yia-Yia, Papa Rowe, Macy&Robbie before we came home and ate supper. Mallory watched Haley while I went to Zumba. When I got back, I told Haley she could only watch one more show and then she had to go to bed. So after her show she went to her room and got ready. When I got in there she said, "Mommy this is a rule. You take a shower while I play in my room & then I will go to bed. Is that a good idea?" I told her it was but that she had to go to bed and could play in her room tomorrow. We listen to a story on the computer and then she went to bed. We had a great Fat Tuesday even though we did not go downtown. Haley celebrated Mardi Gras today by wearing her outfit from Sunday that I made for her this year.

Pump It Up&Parade

Today we all went to Pump It Up and had a great time. Haley can now climb up all the stairs and slide all by herself but she does like help every once in a while. Haley can even do the climb the wall. She can get to the first line of velcro. She enjoy watching daddy do that as well. He can almost get to the top. Haley liked playing basketball as well in the jumpy one as well. After an hour and a half we went to lunch at The Dew Drop Inn. Haley ate her whole hotdog and then it was back to the house so Haley could take a nap. When Haley woke up she watch a few shows and then it was time to meet Macy, Robbie, Yia-Yia,&Marie at Pizza Hut before the parade. Haley had a great time at the Parade with Yia-Yia. She caught alot of stuff animals and alot of items that light up in the dark. Daddy and Robbie caught alot of footballs because of there shirts. Daddy was wearing Saints and Robbie was wearing AL. Haley got very tired at this parade b/c it was two parade's back to back. We all had a great time at the parade with each other.

Parade & Movie

Thursday night Haley and I went to the Strippers Parade with Yia-Yia, Macy, Melody, Marie & Mallory. Haley had a great time even though it was windy. It was not very cold but the wind was blowing hard so it felt cold. Haley sat in the chair that Papa Rowe built last year and Macy painted it for this year. Haley loved getting toys, beads,&moon pies from the floats. We got there early so that we could sit right beside the rail. Haley had a great time.
Friday afternoon, Haley, Marie, Mallory, & I went to the movies to see Gnomeo & Juliet. Haley loved it. After the movie I asked her what her favorite part was and she said the Flamingo. We then came home and ate pizza for supper. We had a great night out with only the girls.
