Christmas with the Eldridge's

We had Christmas this year early, so on Wed. the 22nd Santa came to our house. He brought Haley a bike, fishing pole, a baby, Potato Heads, princesses, pots&pans, play food, & a few more items. She loved the bike and wanted to ride it right in the den. After she got dressed for the day she went outside and started to ride the bike. Daddy helped her go straight while pushing. She loves her bike.

On Thursday the 23rd we took a rode trip to see Grandma Imogene in WoodRiver, IL. This was Haley and the boys first time to travel this far and they did great. They watched movies and listened to Cd's while traveling. We did not stop until Grenada, MS and then we stopped in West Memphis, TN and then we were at Grandma's house.  He had Bill&Terry's families at Grandma's house because we were all staying at someones house for the days we were in IL. Greg,Haley,&I stayed with cousin Bruce and his family.

On Friday the 24th, Haley got to play in snow. It started to snow that morning in IL. We went to Grandma's house for a little while and then we had a dinner with all the Eldridge's. After dinner all the great-grand kids got to open gifts and we had a snowball fight outside in the snow.

On Saturday the 25th, we all went to Grandma's house for a very Saint Christmas. We had a great time opening presents and all the kids got Leapsters and love playing there games. They all played outside after presents and loved the snow. We all went to Uncle Bill's house for lunch. In his basement he had a ping pong table, air hokey table, & a dart board so we got to play all afternoon. We got back to Grandma's house around 6pm and just watched football for a little while.

On Sunday the 26th, we went to Grandma's church and then out to lunch at McDonald's with 2 of Allan's brothers & a few cousins. We left IL around 2pm. The kids started to play there Leapsters and watch movies. We stopped for the night in Eads, TN with the Jamerson Family. The kids loved the playroom and wanted to play all night. Haley slept in Piper's room and they were too funny talking to each other before they went to bed.

On Monday the 27th, we left the Jamerson's around 8:30am and stopped in Batesville, MS for gas & then Madison, MS for lunch. Then we were in the van until Slidell, LA. The kids did great. We got home around 7pm that night and Haley wanted to sleep in Piper's bed again. I told her she got to sleep in her bed tonight. 
On Tuesday the 28th,  Haley slept all night until 6am and then she went back to sleep until 9:15 am. She went to the Doctor today because she had been complaining about her ear so she has a cold and one ear infection. We had a great time in IL with all the Eldridge's this year for Christmas but it is great to be home.

Haley had her 1st visit to the dentist today when mommy went for a check-up. She watched mommy get her teeth cleaned and then she sat in the chair like a big girl and had her teeth cleaned. She wore sun glasses so the light was not in her eyes. She helped count her teeth 10 on top and 10 on bottom. She picked out bubble gum toothpaste and had her teeth cleaned. She got her teeth flossed and then she was done. Haley got to pick out little toys for doing so good. She got 2 stampers one Snow White and the other Sleeping Beauty, a popper, a crayon pencil, a pink sucker, floss, a pink toothbrush and toothpaste. She did a great job today at the dentist.

Daddy, Yia-Yia, Marie, Mallory, Macy, Melody,Tiffany, Brad, Gus, Judy, Paw-Paw,&mommy all went to Chuck E Cheese today for lunch to celebrate Haley's Birthday. Haley&Gus had a great time together playing games&eating pizza. Haley got the Tangled Barbie Doll and Tinker Bell outfit from Yia-Yia and Macy. She had a great time. She loved the monster truck and popcorn game. She got alot of tickets. She had a great day.

Christmas Ornament

Haley hung her ornament that she made Sunday night on our tree at home before bed on Tuesday the 14th. She is wearing her new Christmas gown and hat. She really likes her ornament because she made it.

We made Christmas cookies tonight with Aunt Marie&Aunt Mallory. Haley had a great time rolling out the dough and cutting with cookie cutters. She liked making the little stars because they were her size. She had fun decorating as well because she made a big mess with the icing but she was taking a bath so it was alright. She got to eat one cookie and then packed some to go to Yia-Yia's house for tomorrow. We all had a fun time making cookies.

We had our church party after services on Sunday night the 12th of December. Haley got to make two ornaments. One to give to great-grandparents and the other to keep on her tree. She enjoyed making the ornament. She was trying to make pink and we did. She liked watching the paint while she was moving it to cover the whole ornament. She then got to wrap a present for Inner City Children. She picked out an Barbie and necklace to wrap. She had fun tapping the paper. She did good at the party.

We had our church widow's luncheon today. Papa Rowe led the kids in songs and Haley sang loudly. She sat by Marie and did very well. Another lady led the kids in two songs while ringing bells. Haley did a great job. Marie&Mallory also sang a song. They all did a great job. Here are the pics I took from today at church.

Haley's 1st Movie

During Thanksgiving with the family, Haley got to see her first movie Tangled. She loved it. She kept saying, "This is awesome, mommy!" She was talking about the screen when they were showing commercials. She loved the movie with all the songs. She wanted the baby to go back to her mommy&daddy and kept saying, "The old lady took the baby!" We might see it again before it is out of the theater since the loved it so much.
